There are two options available for listening to sermons from this website.

1. Streaming ~ which is the technical term for listening to audio without actually downloading the file to your computer. You do this by clicking on the "listen audio" link. (This is the preferred method for those who have a dial-up internet connection using a phone line)

2. Downloading ~ which is where you are actually downloading a copy of the entire file from the server onto your own computer. You do this by clicking on the "download audio" link.

Streaming

If you have a standard dial-up connection, you probably want to just listen to the sermon rather than downloading it. When using a dial-up connection, downloading a large file like this would take up to several hours.

To do this, simply click on the "listen audio" link. Your computer will most likely automatically open up your default audio player that is on your computer (e.g. media player, real player, music match, itunes, etc.) When it opens it will most likely say "buffering" for a few seconds. Some audio players will begin playing immediately after the buffering is completed. With others you will have to press play to begin the audio. That's it!

If your computer does not appear to have an audio player already installed, you can get any number of them free by downloading them from their websites. A link to MediaPlayer and RealPlayer are provided below.

Downloading

To download the file RIGHT CLICK on the "download audio" link and select "Save Target As...". (If you have a Mac, CONTROL CLICK and then select "Save Link to File...") This will give you the ability to name the file and choose where to download it on your computer.

Under "File Name" simply name it whatever you wish, and under "Save In" choose the location on your computer where you desire to file to be saved.

Once the file is downloaded onto your computer, double click on the icon it created for you and it will begin to play with whatever audio player you have on your computer. If you do not have an audio player installed on your computer (most computers come with audio players already installed) click on one of the links provided above to download a free player.
