A Word of Caution

The Concordant Literal Translation is an extremely literal, and therefore very helpful translation.  However, it appears that its translators (or at least those in possession of this translation) hold to at least two seriously erroneous teachings.

In visiting their website, it seems that they:

(1) deny the deity and personhood of the Holy Spirit

(2) hold to a universalistic view of salvation. (believing all people will be saved)

You can read these views in their words HERE

These erroneous beliefs are, in no way, espoused by the creators of this website.  We find them heretical, and therefore dangerous for the body of Christ.  However, the translation from Greek remains extremely literal in nearly every case.   There are some places, however, where these incorrect beliefs bleed through into the way they translate into English.  (i.e. the name "Holy Spirit" is never capitalized in this translation)  So, please read from this translation with this in mind.
