Some of what is available comes from the generations that came before such as Watchman Nee and T. Austin Sparks. But much of it is provided by those who presently hold this message. For the most part, they are people who participate in Christ As Life which is an "umbrella" name under which men and women of God from all over the world, who preach the message of the Cross, have identified.

The purpose of Christ As Life is to join together with those of "like precious faith" in order to more comprehensively spread around the world the reality that Christ is the life of the believer and all that entails. Through the efforts of countless ministries and individuals that have given themselves to this message, through our united thrust, we are seeking to exalt Christ in His rightful place in the Church around the world.

The carnal gospel has long had the pre-eminence and been at the fore-front of the presentation of Christ. We who are of Christ As Life feel we must do all we can to set forth this message before the hearts of hungry believers who are desiring a greater comprehension of the things of God.

We are not an off-shoot of, or associated with, any previous group such as those who teach the "manifested sons of God", "union life" teaching, or any other such organization. God has been sovereignly moving across the globe raising up groups of saints to whom the Revelation of Christ has come. Our emphasis is not upon ourselves, what we have become or how the Cross and the resurrection has made us special in any way. Our emphasis is Christ. Our task is not to start a movement, denomination or any such thing. Those who are part of Christ As Life simply want to function together as the New Man that we are in resurrection with Christ being the Head and Life of the Body. To us, Christ As Life is not an organization but is a term that represents all of the spirit reality that we have embraced as a result of the Revelation of Christ and Him crucified. Our bond is that, for all of us, Christ is our Life.
